A bumper Christmas collection for local families in crisis

Throughout December, we supported The Trussell Trust's Christmas Appeal by collecting food and toiletries for our local food bank in Newcastle-under-Lyme. 

Our team created a 'Reverse Advent Calendar', which aligned with the initiative being run by Newcastle-Staffs Food Bank. The idea was simple – in the office we placed a cardboard box covered in Christmas wrapping paper. Each working day, instead of getting a little piece of chocolate, our team members contributed an item that was in short supply at the food bank.

The Concentric team pulled together and collected 61.5kg of essential food and toiletries, the equivalent of 146 meals. Everything will be sorted into emergency packages that will be distributed to local families in crisis over the festive season.
