
Covering month-end reporting with critical OneStream & Hyperion support
As COVID-19 cases move past the million marker, the unprecedented impact on public health and the resultant impact on business continuity has in some senses 'shut down the world'.
Thankfully, most of our OneStream and Oracle Hyperion customers are running centralised, web-accessible reporting environments that enable finance teams to function from home. Like everyone else, we are finding that some walks of life are coping with the crisis without drama, and others are struggling in the face of significantly reduced business demand and substantially fewer personnel, as proportions of the workforce have to ‘self-isolate’.
Our team continue to operate as normal, practicing social distancing measures and working from home whilst government guidelines enforce a lockdown. On-going OneStream and Hyperion customer project activities have not been impacted, and our Support and Managed Services group have ramped up their efforts to provide proactive systems administration and support cover to finance teams in need. Working remotely is second nature for us. We have used remote-access technologies and cloud-based applications since Concentric was formed in 2005.

When he is not running our Munich office, Alexander von Keller is a volunteer fireman, staffing the 'Corona Drive-in-Station' that has been in operation since the beginning of this week in Ismaning. People who think they have contracted the Coronavirus can be tested without need for them to travel to local medical facilities.
Back in the UK, members of our team have signed up as volunteer helpers, aiding neighbours and those in 'at risk' groups with errands to collect food and medical supplies.
